Extract Emails from Text

Paste any text and instantly extract all email addresses. Filter by domain, deduplicate, and export - one per line, ready for your CRM or outreach tool.

Matches the full domain exactly; a leading @ is optional. Clear the field to show all extracted emails.

How to extract emails from text

Paste content into Input text or choose a file with Upload. Extract Emails from Text puts each matching address on its own line in Output text. The checkboxes and Domain filter change the displayed list before you use Copy or Download.

  1. Paste content into Input text, or select a text file with Upload.
  2. Enter a full domain in Domain filter, such as gmail.com, when you want to keep one domain.
  3. Leave Unique only or Convert to lowercase checked when those changes should apply.
  4. Review the count and addresses in Output text.
  5. Use Copy or Download when the list is ready.

What the email extractor changes

Unique only and Convert to lowercase start checked. Convert to lowercase runs first, then Domain filter keeps addresses whose complete domain matches, and Unique only removes later repeats. This order means two addresses that differ only in letter case become one result when both checkboxes are selected.

Contact [email protected] and [email protected].
Send receipts to [email protected].

With both checkboxes selected, Output text contains two lines:

[email protected]
[email protected]

Clear Convert to lowercase to keep the original letter case. Clear Unique only to keep repeated matches. Output text is read-only, and its footer shows the number of displayed emails.

How to filter emails by domain

Enter a domain in Domain filter to keep addresses whose complete domain matches. A leading @ is optional. The field trims surrounding spaces and compares domain letters without case differences. Clear the field with the button beside it to show all extracted emails again.

[email protected]

[email protected]

Entering @shop.example leaves [email protected] and [email protected]. The filter does not match a partial value such as example. If the filter removes every match, Output text is empty and Copy and Download are disabled.

What Extract Emails from Text recognizes

The extractor looks for text with an @ and a dotted domain. Addresses can appear inside sentences, logs, CSV text, or Markdown text. The pattern does not check mail delivery or confirm that a mailbox exists, and Output text contains the addresses without their surrounding words.

Upload accepts files marked .txt, .csv, .log, .md, or text/plain. Empty input and text without a matching address leave Output text empty. Copy and Download stay disabled until at least one address remains in the result.

Where this comes up

Paste a ticket export into Input text, set Domain filter to company.example, and copy the addresses that remain.

Upload a log file with Upload, leave Unique only enabled, and download the distinct matches found in the text.

When letter case needs to stay visible, clear Convert to lowercase and check the count before saving the list.

Choose the extractor for the job

Use Text Parsing & Data Extraction when you need to choose among extractors for emails, URLs, phone numbers, dates, matching lines, delimiters, or custom patterns.

Choose Extract URLs from Text for web addresses with duplicate removal and trailing-punctuation cleanup. Choose Extract Lines Containing a String for whole matching lines instead of email addresses. For a pattern you define, use Custom Regex Extractor.

Frequently asked questions

How do I extract email addresses from text?

Paste content into Input text and review the matches in Output text. Set Domain filter or change Unique only and Convert to lowercase before using Copy or Download.

Can I extract emails from a text file?

Yes. Select a file with Upload when its type is marked .txt, .csv, .log, .md, or text/plain. The extracted addresses appear in Output text.

How do I filter an email list by domain?

Enter the full domain in Domain filter, with or without a leading @. The comparison ignores case and keeps addresses with that complete domain.

Does the email extractor remove duplicates?

Yes, when Unique only is checked. When Convert to lowercase is also checked, case-only variations are converted first and then treated as the same displayed address.

Can it verify that an email address works?

No. Extract Emails from Text finds matching address patterns; it does not test delivery or confirm that a mailbox exists.
