How to calculate golf score to par
Enter the par and your strokes for each hole, then select Calculate. The Golf Score Calculator adds only the holes that have strokes entered, subtracts total par from total strokes, and lists the calculation for each included hole.
Calculate a golf score from hole scores
- Choose 9 holes or 18 holes under
Holes to enter. - Enter each hole's par and strokes. Each par field starts at 4, and a blank strokes field skips that hole.
- Enter par as a whole number from 3 through 6 and strokes as a whole number from 1 through 15.
- Select
Calculateafter entering at least one strokes value.
An invalid value produces an error naming its hole. If every strokes field is blank, the message is Enter strokes for at least one hole. Changing Holes to enter rebuilds the table and clears the entries.
Golf round statistics and score to par
The result shows Relative to par, Total strokes, Total par, and Strokes / hole. It calculates Total strokes - Total par. Negative values are under par, positive values are over par, and zero appears as E.

Choose 9 holes or 18 holes before entering scores. Blank strokes fields stay out of the totals, average, best hole, worst hole, and outcome counts. The calculator still validates par for every displayed hole, including holes whose strokes field is blank.
Copy or download a golf score result
Select Copy result to place the generated plain-text result on the clipboard. Select Download result (.txt) to save golf-score-to-par-result.txt. If the copy action fails, the page displays Could not copy - select and copy manually. Select Reset to hide the result, restore 18 holes, rebuild the fields, and clear the entered values.
