How to make an image collage
Add image files, then choose a layout under Layout mode. Grid and Masonry place images in columns, Freeform gives each image a movable and resizable box, and Contact sheet adds labels to a grid. The preview changes as you adjust the page, cell, fit, background, and spacing controls. Select an export format and click Download when the layout is ready.
- Use Drop images here or browse files to add images. The tool ignores files that are not images.
- Select Grid, Masonry, Freeform, or Contact sheet under Layout mode.
- Drag thumbnails to set their order, then adjust the controls shown for that mode.
- Choose PNG, JPG, PDF, or ZIP under Export format, then click Download.
How to arrange images in a grid, masonry, or freeform collage
Grid divides the page into equal-sized cells. Auto cell height (square) makes each image area square; clear it to enter a row height. Masonry keeps each image's proportions in columns and calculates the page height from the arranged images. Its preview has no page navigator, and Page numbers apply only to Contact sheet. In Freeform, drag an image to move it, drag its corner handle to resize it, or click Auto-arrange to rebuild the positions.
Choose A4 portrait (1240x1754), A4 landscape (1754x1240), Letter portrait (1275x1650), Letter landscape (1650x1275), Square (1200x1200), Instagram square (1080x1080), or Custom... under Page size. Custom size (px) shows width and height inputs. Columns, Margin, Spacing, and Background change the page where the selected mode uses them.
How to create a contact sheet from images
Contact sheet uses grid placement with labels. Filenames, Frame numbers, and Page numbers start checked, while Captions is off. Turn on Captions to show a text input in the image list; the caption is drawn below the filename. Long filenames and captions are shortened to fit their cell.

What Fit, Fill, and Crop do
Image fit rule appears in Grid and Contact sheet. Fit keeps the whole image inside the cell and can leave Background visible. Fill draws the image to the cell dimensions, which can change its proportions. Crop scales the image to cover the cell and clips the centered overflow.
Grid and Contact sheet create additional pages when the images do not fit. PNG and JPG download the page currently shown in the preview. PDF includes all computed pages, while ZIP creates those pages as PNG files. JPG quality starts at 90% and accepts values between 30% and 100%.
Choose a layout for the job
Use Contact sheet when filenames, frame numbers, captions, or page numbers need to appear with the images. Use Freeform when each image needs its own position and size. Use A4 portrait, Margin, and Spacing when the page preset should guide the arrangement, then inspect each page in the preview.
