How to generate domain name ideas
Enter Keywords (comma-separated, required) and set the naming rules. Domain Name Generator combines keywords with built-in blend words and, when placement allows, words extracted from Brand description (optional). Each result shows a selected TLD and Availability: Unknown.
- Enter root words in Keywords (comma-separated, required).
- Add a sentence to Brand description (optional) when descriptive words should join the blend pool.
- Select one or more TLDs, then set Max length (letters, excl. TLD), Keyword placement, and Batch size.
- Enter comma-separated values in Prefix patterns (optional) or Suffix patterns (optional) for extra parts.
- Choose Allow hyphens or Allow numbers, then review the candidates.
- Copy an individual result, select Copy All, or select Download TXT to take the list elsewhere.
How keyword placement changes domain name ideas
Anywhere puts the keyword before or after a blend word. Start of name puts it first, while End of name puts it second. Exact match only uses the keyword as the base. If that base exceeds Max length (letters, excl. TLD), the generator cuts it to the limit before it adds any selected prefix, suffix, or number.
Keywords (comma-separated, required): mountain coffee
Keyword placement: Exact match only
TLDs: .com
Candidate: mountaincoffee.com
Brand description (optional) contributes lowercase words with 4 to 10 letters after the listed stopwords are removed. Keywords, Prefix patterns (optional), and Suffix patterns (optional) are lowercased and stripped to letters and numbers.
What Max length and Options change
Max length (letters, excl. TLD) applies to the whole base name, including any prefix, suffix, hyphen, or number. The selected TLD is added afterward. A parsed value is held between 4 and 30; an empty, zero, or non-number value uses 14.
- Allow hyphens lets the generator join parts with a hyphen. When it is off, names containing a hyphen are rejected.
- Allow numbers permits an optional number from 1 to 99. The digits are removed before the pronounceability check.
- A candidate needs at least one vowel and cannot contain four consecutive consonants or four consecutive vowels after digits and hyphens are removed.
Why the domain name generator can return fewer candidates
Batch size is an upper target for unique base names. Parsed values are held between 1 and 100, and an empty, zero, or non-number value uses 20. A short Max length (letters, excl. TLD), Exact match only, restrictive patterns, duplicate names, or the pronounceability checks can leave fewer names. Each selected TLD is then rendered with every base name, so the displayed count can exceed Batch size.
Leave Keywords (comma-separated, required) empty and the page generates no candidates. Remove every TLD and it shows Select at least one TLD. Every result says Availability: Unknown. The generator does not query a registrar or DNS service, sell or register domains, or screen names against trademark databases.
Where domain name ideas come up
The input placeholders show the intended shape of an entry: Keywords (comma-separated, required) can contain nimbus, cloud, sync, while Brand description (optional) can contain A calm, minimal project planner for small design teams. Select .com, .app, or any other listed TLD to attach those endings to each accepted base name.
Prefix patterns (optional) and Suffix patterns (optional) accept comma-separated additions. get can be attached before a name and hq after it. Select Copy All for newline-separated results, or Download TXT to create domain-candidates.txt.
When another name generator fits better
Use Text Generation Tools to choose another type of generator. This page is for domain candidates with TLDs and naming constraints. Username Generator is for account handles, Acronym Generator is for initials from a phrase, and Random Name Generator is for fictional or nationality-based names.
Frequently asked questions
How do I generate domain name ideas with keywords?
Enter one or more comma-separated words in Keywords (comma-separated, required), select a TLD, and adjust Keyword placement and Batch size. Brand description (optional) adds eligible extracted words to the blend pool.
Can a domain name generator check availability?
No. Every result is marked "Availability: Unknown" because this page does not query a registrar or DNS service.
Why did the domain name generator return fewer names?
Fewer names appear when length, placement, prefix, suffix, hyphen, number, duplicate, or pronounceability checks reject possible bases. Batch size is an upper target, and selected TLDs are displayed separately.
What makes a domain candidate pronounceable?
A candidate must contain a vowel and avoid four consecutive consonants or vowels after digits and hyphens are removed.
How can I export generated domain names?
Select Copy All to copy newline-separated candidates, or select Download TXT to save domain-candidates.txt.
