PDF Page Editor

A single browser-based workspace for page-level PDF editing: delete, reorder, rotate and crop pages, add page numbers and repeated headers/footers, fill and flatten form fields, remove annotations, add flat bookmarks, and place a signature image. Switch between modes freely - every edit accumulates into one pending change set, previewed live on the page thumbnails and summarized before you export a brand new PDF.

How to edit PDF pages with PDF Page Editor

Load a .pdf file, choose a mode, and change the page list or page content. PDF Page Editor keeps Delete, Reorder, Rotate, Crop, Page numbers, Header/Footer, Fill forms, Annotations, Bookmarks, and Signature image changes in one pending result. The page thumbnails and Change summary update as you work.

Use PDF Page Editor

  1. Drop a .pdf file here or choose browse files.
  2. Select Delete, Reorder, Rotate, Crop, Page numbers, Header/Footer, Fill forms, Annotations, Bookmarks, or Signature image.
  3. Select pages with thumbnails or enter a range where the mode provides one, then change its settings.
  4. Check the thumbnail strip and the updated Change summary.
  5. Choose Download .pdf for the edited file or Download change report for the plain-text report.

How to delete and reorder PDF pages

In Delete, click thumbnails or enter a range in Select pages by range. Ranges use the current page numbers, so a reordered file has a new range order. Deleted pages stay grayed out in the strip, where Delete selected pages and Restore selected pages can change the pending result. Reorder uses thumbnail drag-and-drop or the up and down buttons.

Range: 2,4,7-9
Selected: pages 2, 4, 7, 8, and 9

How to rotate, crop, and number a PDF

Rotate applies Rotate 90°, Rotate 180°, or Rotate 270° to selected pages. Reset rotation returns them to zero. Crop trims the page box with Top margin (pt), Right margin (pt), Bottom margin (pt), and Left margin (pt); 72pt equals 1 inch. If the margins exceed the page size, the resulting crop box stays at least 1pt wide and 1pt high. Page numbers use a position, starting number, a format containing {n} and {total}, and an optional range based on final output page numbers.

How to fill PDF forms and add page text

Fill forms reads standard AcroForm text fields, checkboxes, radio groups, dropdowns, and option lists. Flatten form after filling puts the values into page content and removes the editable fields. XFA-only forms, unsupported fields, and forms the library cannot parse can be flagged or shown as read-only. Header/Footer adds centered plain text once per targeted output page. It is separate from Page numbers and does not add an image watermark.

What bookmarks, annotations, and signature images change

Annotations removes comments, highlights, links, and other annotation objects from selected pages. Bookmarks adds named entries to a flat top-level list, so nested sub-bookmarks are not supported and the exported outline can replace the existing outline. Signature image accepts a PNG or JPG and places the picture on a chosen page with X (pt from left), Y (pt from bottom), Width (pt), and Height (pt). Coordinates are not limited to the visible page. The picture has no cryptographic signature, certificate, identity check, or tamper evidence. PDF Page Editor does not redact visible text or images.

Examples of combined PDF edits

  • A reviewer removes an unwanted appendix, reorders the remaining pages, and downloads a new PDF for circulation.
  • A coordinator fills an AcroForm, checks the values, and flattens the form before sending the completed document.
  • A document owner crops page edges, adds a repeated footer, and creates top-level bookmarks for named sections.

When another PDF edit tool fits better

Use PDF Edit Tools when you are comparing page editing with other PDF changes. Choose PDF Metadata Editor when the job is editing Title, Author, Subject, Keywords, Creator, Producer, or date fields. Choose Watermark PDF when you need a text or image watermark with controls for page range, position, scale, rotation, opacity, or layer order.

Frequently asked questions

Does PDF Page Editor upload my PDF?

No. The selected PDF is read, edited, and saved in the browser, and the script does not send the file contents to a server.

Can I delete and reorder PDF pages in one file?

Yes. Delete and Reorder changes stay in the same pending edit, and the current thumbnail order becomes the output page order.

Can PDF Page Editor edit a password-protected PDF?

No. Encrypted or password-protected PDFs are detected, editing is disabled, and the tool does not remove the password.

Is a signature image a digital signature?

No. Signature image places a PNG or JPG picture on a page and adds no certificate, identity verification, or tamper evidence.
